Paul Duval

President

Paul Duval has been involved in financial services since 1989, and was one of the founding principals of Genesis Capital Advisors.  He has served as its president since 1997, and is president and a principal of Genesis Wealth Advisors, LLC.  Paul is known for his broad knowledge in financial planning issues, both personal and corporate, and for his focused expertise in investment strategies.

Paul specializes in developing investment portfolios aimed at helping both individual and institutional investors achieve their financial goals.  He understands that your current situation, your goals and your life stages are your own, and he can help you create a dynamic portfolio to meet your specific needs.

Paul graduated from Holy Cross College and earned his MBA at Babson College.  He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), designations awarded by The American College.  Paul holds a NASD Series 7 securities license, and a NASD Series 24 securities license.  He has also passed the NASAA Series 65 investment adviser law exam.  He knows the ins and outs of the investment world, and is adept at crafting practical solutions to fit specific needs.  Paul is a member of the Financial Planning Association, and of the Greater Boston Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.  He prides himself on having fulfilled the Society’s continuing education requirements since 1992.

In addition to his work at Genesis, Paul is also active in his community.  He has served on the boards of a number of charitable foundations, and is especially interested in those that provide scholarships for deserving students.  Paul has also enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and youth basketball.
